  • Wood-Fired Sauna

When: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, all year round Departing from: Margate Marina, Barretta Duration: 90-minutes Note: The last session of the day is always a sunset session Session Type: Communal (shared with other people) or Private (if you book all 8 spots) Age: Communal 18+ | Private 10+ Capacity: Strictly up to 8 people Included: 1 towel per person What to bring: Bathers + water bottle + spare towel* What to wear: Warm comfy clothes *Towels (one per person) are provided, however, we recommend bringing an extra towel for drying off at the end of your session __________ This wood-fired sauna session is typically communal, meaning you will share the experience with other people — unless you book all 8 spots, in which case the session becomes your own private sauna experience! During the Kuuma sauna experience, you will typically cruise out to a nearby quiet bay. While cruising, you are invited to warm up in the sauna. Once moored or anchored, the skipper/sauna master will slide the gate open, transforming the boat into a swimming platform. After everything is secure, you are encouraged to take a leap and jump into the cold water (Average: 9º in Winter / 17º in Summer). If the jump feels a bit too intense, we also offer a more playful alternative: the trusty Kuuma shower bucket. Simply pull the cord gently and let the cold water cascade over you. While it may not be as dramatic as the jump, it is still a refreshing and fun way to cool down. Feel free to repeat this ritual as many times as you like until the gate is closed, which signals the return to the marina. During the cruise back, you are welcome to continue the sauna ritual and use the shower bucket for cooling. Our dedicated Kuuma Sauna Master/Skipper will guide you throughout the entire experience, ensuring your time aboard Kuuma is truly memorable. • Please note that this service is weather-dependent. If adverse weather conditions make it unsafe to cruise outside the marina, alternative options will be provided. • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on board and within the marina premises. • To provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for all guests, children aged 10 to 18 years are only permitted in private sauna sessions. To include children aged 10 and above, please book all 8 spots.
